Eco Holiday Activities
Ecotourism is a purposeful and responsible trip to preserve the nature on one hand and on the other it has some wonderful and joyous entertainments such as bird watching, trekking, mountaineering, kayaking, angle fishing, and animal safaris.
1.Bird watching
Birds are one of the ornaments of nature and it is an ecstasy for the nature lovers to see them from distance and admiring the winged creations of god. South India has got some of the world’s major breeding and feeding grounds. The following are some of south India’s prime bird watching sites.

2.Trekking
Good air! This is what we lack in towns and cities and what we get in hills and mountains. Trekking is taking a walk in hills, mountains or forests which gives us pollution free air, pleasant surrounding, green environment, stress less mind and great experience. Moreover it gives us a feel of heaven. We have some great spots to trek in south India.

3) Mountaineering
It is an art of climbing mountains aided by ropes and other accessories such as crampons. Great care and a good pre approach should be undertaken before mountaineering to avoid dangers. It has some forms include rock climbing, snow and ice climbing.
4) Kayaking
It is a part of rafting and kayak is a small double ended craft of Eskimo design. It is very similar to canoe with a difference that is enclosed except for a small cockpit. It is watertight and provided with a detachable spray deck attached to the body of the peddler. The way of propelling is aided with a double ended pedal.
5) Angle fishing
In the sequence of golf, billiards and other sports, angle fishing is a favorite pastime for us. This sport of catching fish using a rod, line and hooks eventually practiced in every countries. Several other forms of angling are fresh water fishing, fly fishing, game fishing and deep sea fishing.
6) Wildlife safaris
It must be a different experience for a busy worker and business men who travels a lot in towns and cities to take a trip inside the jungle, watching animals and birds virtually. Wildlife safaris are usually through a closed jeep or elephant safaris. It is a pleasing experience to take a wildlife safari.
